Atari® has announced a series of video game-themed Atari Hotels all across the United States. The first hotel is expected to break ground in Phoenix, Arizona later in 2020.

7 Reasons why offseason travel is the best way to travel

The hotels will be equipped with the latest in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) as well as state-of-the-art venues and studios to host e-sports events. Atari said their hotels will be fun for people of all ages and gaming ability.

Atari has partnered with GSD Group on the project, as well as Napoleon Smith III, the producer of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film franchise reboot. GSD Group is also associated with Steve Wozniak’s Woz Innovation Foundation.

“We are thrilled to partner with GSD Group and True North Studio to build the first-ever Atari branded hotels across the United States. Together we’ll build a space that will be much more than just a place to stay,” said Fred Chesnais, CEO of Atari. “Atari is an iconic global brand that resonates with people of all ages, countries, cultures and ethnic backgrounds and we cannot wait for our fans and their families to enjoy this new hotel concept.”
