I have to admit, I am a bit of a weekender bag hoarder. I bought my first one five years ago, which I loved. But after the zipper broke, I have been buying new overnight bags of all sizes (don’t worry, I only have three – currently). It is so fun to go out of town for a night or so, or even just to have a bag for the airplane. So which are our favorite weekender bags for women? Here are a few:

Adrienne Vittadini Diamond Quilted Velvet Extra Large Travel Plush Duffle Bag

So, this was the bag whose zipper broke — but to be fair, it was completely my fault (I packed way too much). Otherwise though, this overnight bag is the perfect weekender bag. It’s big enough to hold all your stuff, but not so big that it will hurt your back if you need to walk with it for an extended period of time.

It has a beautiful red interior, a soft black exterior, and all the hardware is gold. It comes with a nice luggage tag and plenty of pockets to carry your smaller items (jewelry, contact lens case, etc.).

Jessica Simpson Breton Weekender

This is not the exact bag I own, but it’s very close. Jessica Simpson makes some quality clothing and bags, and this Jessica Simpson weekender bag is no different. The pink striped exterior makes you look fun but also classy, and the inside provides plenty of space for everything you might need for a night, or for a week.

Useful travel gifts for any traveler

The best part is that this Jessica Simpson weekender bag also has matching luggage. So not only can you bring a classy weekender bag, but when you are going on a longer weekend, you can bring the matching luggage. And don’t we all want to look like we have it THAT together?

Madden Girl Women’s Weekender

This bag is like the above bag, but slightly larger. If you have been reading for a while, you know I love everything Steve Madden. Not only is it an aesthetic thing, but they make quality bags that are useful for travelers of all kinds. They offer plenty of pockets to hold all of your things, and plenty of space for your clothes and anything else you want to bring.

Madden Girl Women’s Mgcori Nylon Weekender

I love this bag. This is the weekender bag I use when I am going out of town for just the weekend, or even just one night. The bag is not huge so I wouldn’t use it for more than a day or two trip, but it is also small enough to use as your plane carry-on. It is adorable, and like all other Steve Madden things, it is not only good looking, but it has enough pockets — both inside and outside — for all your things.

Best camera bags for travel

This bag is fuchsia, but the one I own is black. It is all up to you on what you like.

You can see the bag in this video.

iFUNLE Foldable Travel Duffel Bag

If you’re anything like me, you come back from vacation with an astounding amount more than you left with. I have purchased numerous bags in different countries because of this terrible habit. However, I am not going to limit myself because of this bad habit — if I am on vacation and want to buy presents, I am going to do it.

This bag is perfect because it’s foldable and does not take up much room, so you can fit it in your suitcase on your way to your destination, and then unfold it and fill it with anything new you may have purchased (or, let’s be honest, the same amount of clothes on your way there never fits in your suitcase the same way on the way back). You can then check it or use it as a carry-on.

No matter what you are looking for, the perfect weekender bag for you is out there. It may sound weird, but just buying one of these bags makes you want to go out of town, ASAP.
